Born and raised in Åkersberga, Stockholm, Sweden
I graduated from Vancouver Film School receiving a diploma with honours in Digital Character Animation and from Campus i12 receiving a Higher Education Diploma with specialisation in 3D-Technology.
I have since an early age been drawing and doodling, mostly during classes in school, and I've always liked cartoons and movies. I especially cartoons like "Wile E. Coyote and The Road Runner" which were very simple, but very funny, as wells as more serious cartoons like "Avatar: The Last Air Bender" that still manage to be funny while delivering an amazing story and a very in-depth world. I try to learn as much as I can from them and I therefore always try to add a funny edge in everything I make.
By a coincidence I started to study 3D when I was 19 and I quickly found out that it was like I was made for it. After trying out the different path in 3D, I knew that animation was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
During my time at Campus i12 I learnt all the basics in 3D and I also learnt how to work in groups with other 3D artists and compositors alike. I also learnt some of the basics of film making.
I then went to Vancouver Film School and got a deeper understanding of animation. I also learned more about pre-production, drawing storyboards and creating animatics. Along with a greater understanding of storytelling, visual appeal and working with short deadlines.
During my last semester at i12 I had an internship as a 3D generalist at Swiss International AB (http://swiss.se) where I got to experience a real studio environment, work on real productions and I also got to do some compositing work.
Some of the software I have experience with are Maya, Photoshop, After Effect, Mudbox and more.
